Welcome to NeuroTEL News

We're launching our official News & Updates page, the place where we'll share product milestones, technology insights, and the story behind building NeuroTEL.

The Story So Far

Building NeuroTEL has been a journey defined by one core belief: independent hotels deserve the same smart technology that luxury chains take for granted, without the six-figure price tag or the six-month installation window.

We started with a simple observation. Walk into most independent hotels and you'll find key cards that could be duplicated, energy systems running at full power in empty rooms, and front-desk staff manually tracking everything from a whiteboard. The technology to solve all three problems has existed for years. The missing piece was making it affordable, retrofit-ready, and fast to deploy.

That's the problem NeuroTEL was built to solve.

What We're Building

We build access-first, energy-second, and we're honest about the stage of every component:

Mobile key on your existing locks: working MVP. Our EntryBridge sticker mounts on a hotel's existing RFID lock and converts a phone's NFC signal, an Apple or Google Wallet credential, into the lock's own 125 kHz signal. The guest taps their phone; the existing lock opens. Peel-and-stick install in seconds per door, a 5–7 year battery life, no wiring, no lock replacement. The frequency conversion is proven on hardware; a custom PCB and a 100-unit pilot batch are next.

Cloud dashboard and hub: in development. A per-floor hub streams access events, encrypted and logged with timestamps, to a live dashboard. Designed to integrate with the PMS hotels already run, including Oracle OPERA.

Intelligent energy management: in development. The EcoSense card sits in the room's power slot with BLE distance sensing and physically cuts power when the room is empty, immune to the "business card in the slot" trick. Industry data suggests 30–40% of room energy is wasted; our first pilots will publish measured results.

What's Coming Next

This news page will be where we publish our honest account of building NeuroTEL: the milestones, the lessons, and the metrics as they come in.

In the coming weeks, expect updates on:

  • Progress toward our first pilot properties in Israel
  • A deeper look at the hardware and how the retrofit process actually works
  • Our roadmap for expanding from access into energy

If you're a hotel owner curious about what a pilot would look like for your property, the best way to reach us is through the pilot program section on our homepage. We respond to every message.
